Project Description
Designed and developed the GoMop, a plastic injection-molded floor mop, using advanced surface modeling techniques in Inventor CAD. The functional prototype was produced in nylon through Xometry and optimized for easy cloth squeezing. This project provided valuable experience in product development, including Design for Manufacturing (DFM), 3D printing with Selective Laser Sintering (SLS), tooling selection, choosing between aluminum and steel based on production volumes, and mass production processes.
